SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad and Windows Phone 7 coming soon
Sponsored linkSlingPlayer marketing manager Dave Eyler today confirmed that his company is working on a version of SlingPlayer for the iPad. Sling Media had previously committed on a native app for several platforms and said that on other platforms–mobile included–that a Flash app would be used.
The party under the radar says that “they are actively moving towards the H.264” which points to none other than Windows Phone 7 Series. Sling Media wants to make sure that the iPad gets the best of what SlingPlayer has to offer. Sling is working on some interesting developments such as “actively moving towards H.264?, Silverlight support, in addition to the streaming with resolutions beyond the current output of 320 x 240. No timetable or any WP7-specific features were revealed in the early tease.
