Nokia5310 XpressMusic phone is a super-slim S40 candybar handset. The handset is only 9.9 millimetre thick and weighs only 70 grams. No wonder it is called a super-slim phone. It is being said that the 5310 XpressMusic phone from Nokia is the company’s answer to Sony Ericsson’s W880 model because of its dedicated music controls on its left edge. The phone enables you to “sideload” music bought from the Nokia Music Store via their PC however they won’t be able to download them directly to the phone as it uses the Series 40 operating system rather than Series 60. The phone comes with both stereo Bluetooth headphones as well as normal 3.5mm jack equipped stereo headphones as far is playback is concerned. The handset also features a 3.5mm headphone jack instead of an adapter which is a nice addition to the model. Nokia offers 5310’s battery in the handset which can provide for up to 18 hours of music playback. In addition to that the phone supports microSD cards of to 4GB in capacity which can accumulate up to 3000 songs. And for the people who like to switch on radio for music and information the phone also offers built in FM radio. Now let’s see what else Nokia offers in the handset apart from the music. The sleek casing comes in black with red markings and black with blue markings. The other features in the phone include a 2 megapixel camera and up to 12 and half days of battery life on standby. Also a stereo Bluetooth so you can listen wirelessly completes the package. It also features a bright 2-inch QVGA screen with up to 16 million colours. The additional accessories include headphones, docking stations and speakers, which will be identifiable by “For Nokia XpressMusic Phones.” With its slim design and light weight the phone is also easy to carry around in your jeans pocket or purse comfortably.
