Quickoffice today announced the availability of Quickoffice Premier 6.0 for Symbian S60 devices. The latest upgrade now enables mobile professionals to view column and line charts in Microsoft Excel 2007, with real-time recalculation. The enhanced file manager allows users to easily navigate and organize file types, in addition to the ability to open Zip files.
Quickoffice Premier 6.0 is the only mobile solution to provide full viewing and editing capabilities of native Microsoft Office 2007 documents on S60 devices, allowing workers to increase their productivity while on-the-go. Other new features of 6.0 include the ability to open password protected files on Word and Excel documents, word count for Word files and Go To Cell for worksheets, making it easier to navigate large sheets.
The mobile office suite retains file formatting with no data loss, delivering superior document ‘round-trip’ capabilities so users can confidently edit and exchange files between their phones and desktop. Other features include tighter integration with Adobe Reader LE to handle complex PDF files, spell check in multiple languages and the ability to record live voice notes in PowerPoint.
