VERTU to launch Club VERTU Services in Japan

VERTU is set to launch an exclusive Club in Japan that will allow discerning subscribers access to a host of exclusive mobile services including ‘Club VERTU’ which includes a special members-only concierge. VERTU has contracted Nokia Siemens Networks with this landmark Managed Services deal for the rollout of the hosted MVNO solution.
“Meeting the needs of customers in this segment requires a specialised approach. VERTU users the world over are discerning individuals who are willing to pay a premium for the right experience. Our success relies on delivering a world class experience that is unmatched”, says Tagore Ramoutar, Director of Business Development for Japan & Korea, at VERTU. “Our greatest priority therefore is providing our customers with new and innovative services, and we will focus our energies on this”, he added.
Vertu has signed an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) deal with NTT docomo to provide communication services to Vertu customers. In the second quarter of 2009, Vertu will start to provide the VERTU Club premium membership services with NTT docomo. First Vertu store is scheduled to be opened in Ginza on 19 February 2009.
