About 2 weeks late from the initial planned released date, BlackBerry has put up the MySpace for BlackBerry as free download from its website. You can either download to your computer, or directly from your BlackBerry smartphone for installation.
The MySpace for BlackBerry smartphones application is designed with features including:
* A full messaging interface, including comments, bulletins and messaging
* Real time status and mood updates.
* Find, add, and respond to friend requests
* Camera integration and optimized photo management allowing users to snap, sort and upload pictures anytime and anywhere.
* View and comment on friends’ albums and photos
* Notification of new MySpace events (message and friend requests.)
According to the faq, “If you currently log in to your MySpace account using an email address that is not associated with your BlackBerry smartphone, you will not have access to push-based MySpace Mail and friend requests. To enable push-based MySpace Mail and friend requests, add your MySpace login email address to your BlackBerry smartphone.”
