Romping home after a fantastic year in tech, Apple take on all comers at the T3 Awards.

Apple swept the board at last night’s T3 Awards, struggling home with an armful of six awards for some of the finest tech products known to man.

The iPhone scooped Most Anticipated Gadget for 2008, as voted for by Sky News online readers, while the iPod romped home with the titles of Best Commuter Gadget, Best Music Gadget and Best Gadget of All Time, as voted for by readers of thesun.co.uk.

As if that wasn’t enough, iTunes claimed its place as the year’s Best Download Service, while the Macbook Pro smeared icing on Apple’s celebratory cake, scooping the Drop Dead Gorgeous Award from right under LG Prada’s nose.

It’s clearly been a fruitful year for Apple (sorry), and the T3 Awards show just how well regarded they are, not just by us hacks, but by readers too. Apple, enjoy your success, it’s clearly well deserved.
