6 New Phones from AT&T

On Monday AT&T announced its new six-strong handset range will also include three phones from Samsung Electronics and two from LG Electronics. The fresh new lineup of smartphones and quick messaging phones will make it easier for customers to message with friends and family and manage their business and personal lives on-the-go.

The Propel Pro, a full-QWERTY silver and chrome compact slider smartphone. The Samsung Propel Pro runs on Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) Windows Mobile software and also has a Wi-Fi connection as well as a miniature computer keyboard that slides out from under the silver and chrome device. It will sell for $149.99 in April.
The Impression, has an included 3.0 megapixel camcorder-capable camera, 3.2-inch screen and full browser to maximize every pixel of color. The Impression, which AT&T is pushing as a messaging device, will cost $199.99.
The LG Neon that has already launched up north on Rogers, presents a full landscape QWERTY keyboard in addition to a touchscreen display for a low price.. The green and white quick messaging phone features a full keyboard, 2.0 megapixel camera, and access to Instant Messaging, Mobile Email, AT&T Music, and the mobile Internet. The launch day hasn’t been set for this one, but it’ll come shortly
The LG Xenon, featuring 3G, a 2 megapixel cam, QWERTY slide, GPS, and your choice of colors — black, blue, or red — all for $99.99 when it launches on April 8. LG Xenon brings a quick messaging phone boasting a full keypad for text messaging beneath its vibrant colors and large touch screen display with customizable and intuitive user interface. THe phone packs full suite of AT&T entertainment services such as AT&T Navigator, Napster Mobile, eMusic Mobile, and more. Xenon will be available in three colors: black, blue and red for $99.99
It will also sell the Samsung Magnet, a slim orange and black bar-shaped phone that it expects to appeal to teenagers who like to text message and want a low-cost phone. It did not reveal pricing for the device, which will launch in weeks.
All six devices can be paired with messaging bundles offering 200, 1500, and unlimited messages that cost $5, $15 and $20, respectively. Unlimited messaging is available for AT&T FamilyTalk(R) plan customers for all lines for $30. Data plans vary per device.
