BlackBerry Pearl 8220 will not be cheap
Sponsored linkEarlier there had been rumors that the fifth babe of the BlackBerry Pearl series will be the most affordable smartphone but official announcement from the Canadian carrier Rogers has proved the rumormongers wrong. Rogers will offer the BlackBerry Pearl 8220 for $149.99 on a 3-year voice and data activation contract. This new RIM device has the usual features of standard smartphones including 160 x 128 pixels external display, 240 x 320 pixels internal display, SureType QWERTY keyboard, quad-band GSM connectivity with GRPS and EDGE, Wi-Fi, 2MP camera, Media player, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm headset jack, HTML browser, e-mail capabilities, embedded games, 80MB internal memory and microSD card slot.
