Intel designed Atom having future iPhone in mind
Sponsored linkAccording to Eric Savitz from Barron’s Magazine, a version of the Atom processor from Intel has already been designed to meet the specifications of the Apple’s 3G iPhone. Both companies are now probably planning to have a follow-up on the 3G iPhone even if it is not yet on sale as of the moment. Eric Savitz mentioned in the Barron’s Magazine that he got the information from JoAnne Feeney – an analyst from FTN Midwest Securities Corp.
From Eric Savitz’s blog, he said that a research note was written by JoAnne Feeney stating that the iPhone powered by Atom will be launched in 2009 or 2010. Savitz even quoted that the development program for theAtom is ahead of its schedule. This would probably allow the Intel, the maker of the processor, to demonstrate the 32-nm Atom processor in August during their Intel Developer Forum which will be held in San Francisco.
Apple Inc. has not yet released any comment regarding this issue. Probably they are still focused with the upcoming release of the 3G iPhone in the market happening in 22 different countries including United States and United Kingdom on July 11, 2008. The processor of the main applications of the 3G iPhone is believed to be created by the Samsung using the ARM processor core. It was also made along with the baseband RF chips that came from Infineon.Free Download software | Tìm kiếm Phim | Xem phim online | Sử dụng laptop | Download phim | Download software
