Motorola RIZR Z6 Mobile Phone
Sponsored linkMotorola have announced the forthcoming launch of the Motorola RIZR Z6, which is the next in the Motorola RIZR Z series, and an upgrade on the popular Motorola RIZR Z3. While retaining many of the original features of the Motorola RIZR Z3, the Motorola RIZR Z6 slider phone has a polished finish to the jet black handset, is very easy on the eye, and sure to prove popular.
The phone covers the majority of the major networks available, including GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900 and GSM 850 with an inbuilt internal antenna. The dimensions of the handset are 105 mm x 45 mm x 16.2 mm and the phone weighs in at 105 grams - in line with the vast majority of today’s mobile phone handsets. Powered by a 780 mAh Li-Ion battery, the phone offers 400 hours standby and 7 hours talk time.
As with the original Motorola RIZR Z3, the Motorola RIZR Z6 is dominated by the large TFT display which offers pixel resolution of 240 x 320 and supports up to 256,000 colour variations. The Motorola RIZR Z6 offers a wide array of facilities including a 2 megapixel camera offering 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution, which supports both still photography and video and also has an inbuilt flash.
The online facilities are supported by a WAP 2.0 xHTML browser, which supports both the traditional SMS and MMS messaging services together with email and instant messaging. The phone also has the latest EDGE connectivity software installed, USB port and offers Bluetooth connectivity which together offer a number of ways to transfer data.
The phone book allows the now standard 1,000 records, saved on the handset’s 64MB of internal memory, with last 10 outgoing / ingoing and missed call display. The Motorola RIZR Z6 also offers a variety of inbuilt JAVA games for those relaxing moments, as well as a basic personal organiser with clock, alarm and calculator. The phone also supports MP3, AAC and AAC+ media functionality, with the capacity to download ringtones and tunes via the internet browser.
Navigation of the Motorola RIZR Z6 is simple, via a joystick type roll bar, or the more traditional key navigation. The Motorola RIZR Z6 is a natural progression in the Z series, and shows some nice improvements from earlier models. The phone has sufficient style and functionality to appeal to both the personal and business users, and further strengthens Motorola’s position in the mobile phone market.
