Verizon Wireless today introduced the availability of the Nokia 7205 Intrigue. The Nokia 7205 Intrigue will turn heads with its black exterior, hidden-until-lit external display, internal color keypad and support for exciting multimedia and music features.


The Nokia 7205 Intrigue’s unique external display blends into its smooth black exterior; then when an incoming call or text is received, the display instantly illuminates. Customers can view incoming text messages, play their favorite songs from V CAST Music with Rhapsody, or turn off the alarm clock to snooze a little longer – all from the external display. Verizon Wireless and LG has started to sell the LG Versa, which comes with a 3-inch touch screen interface and an attachable QWERTY keypad. It has built-in accelerometer that will rotate the screen automatically from portrait to landscape, and you can use rotation movements to steer games. Verizon Wireless subscribers now have a new option for enhancing wireless coverage inside homes where location, geography or structural conditions interfere with reception. Verizon Wireless Network Extender - a “mini-cell site” manufactured by Samsung - is about the size of a wireless router box or small attaché case and routes Verizon Wireless calls through the home broadband Internet connection. Network Extender can provide coverage in an area of up to 5,000 square feet.


Network Extender is ideal for users who want to enhance the wireless signal when making voice calls, sending text/picture/video messages, accessing Mobile Web or accessing smartphone/BlackBerry data in situations that could include houses with structural barriers; basement rooms; or some remote, mountainous or hilly areas. Network Extender does not support EV-DO speeds and services that require it. Available on the Voyager by LG, Verizon Wireless has announced a new City ID service which will automatically display the city and state where an incoming phone number is registered, providing additional information to help Verizon Wireless customers recognize unknown numbers.


City ID, an application from Cequint, features information on more than 20,000 cities in North America, providing enough detail to be useful identifying numbers calling from both across town and across the country.

Verizon Wireless customers purchasing the Voyager will receive a complimentary 15-day trial of the City ID application beginning with their first incoming call. Customers may subscribe to City ID for $1.99 monthly access per line added to their monthly plan.

Verizon has launched the midrange W755 clamshell from Motorola.The Motorola W755 has most of the same features and specs as the RAZR V3m, but adds stereo Bluetooth and external touch controls for controlling music, Bluetooth, and the ringer. Features in common with the V3m include 1.3 megapixel camera, color external display, microSD memory card slot, and GPS navigation.

Verizon Wireless announced enV2 that will be available across Verizon stores around the USA as well as at Circuit City stores starting tomorrow April 30th. If you are interested in a messaging/e-mail solution, you might want to check it out.Verizon customers can get in on the action starting tomorrow.
