Akihabaranews.com again spotted Hands-on pictures with the W61P, the other Slim phone from Panasonic ,the W61P, which runs on the AU network in Japan (KDDI) has a thickness of 12.9mm (against the 9.8mm of the P705iu), but include a 1Seg TV tuner that its “slimmer” brother does not have. Panasonic prepare to lunch Panasonic 822P

Panasonic is going to release its 8.9mm-thick mobile phone ‘822P’ in Japan market, which is equipped with a 2.2-inch display with 240 x 320(QVGA) resolution, a 2M camera with auto focus function and a micro card slot expandable to 2GB. Supporting international roaming service and Bluetooth connectivity.
The 822P comes with four different colors including red, pink gold, black and white. It is expected to be available in mid February.

Panasonic VIERA 920P TV Mobile Phone
Panasonic is releasing a mobile phone based on its television line, the VIERA.
The Panasonic VIERA 920P is a phone which would initially be available for the Japanese market. To be released for Softbank, the Panasonic VIERA 920P features a 3-inch wide VGA resolution and a simplistic rectangular design to maximize your viewing experience. It can be folded on its hinge either vertically or horizontally for optimal viewing. Measuring around 106 × 49 × 18 mm and weighing in a 135 grams, the VIERA 920P sports a 5.1 megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR. The model will be available in gold, white, black metal, light blue, and pink.

PANASONIC SHOWCASES WORLD’S FIRST* PROTOTYPE OF 32GB SDHC MEMORY CARD, WITH FAST SPEEDS TO CAPTURE HD VIDEOS

The newly developed card, featuring a massive 32GB of capacity is ideal for AVCHD High Definition video recording, which is experiencing growing demand with the recent expansion of High Definition SD Camcorders. With double the storage capacity of the current 16GB card, the 32GB card is able to record approximately eight hours of 1440 x 1080i High Definition video and approximately five hours and 20 minutes of 1920 x 1080i full High Definition video. With the Class 6 speed specification and maximum data transfer speeds up to 20MB/s, the 32GB card allows users to enjoy superb performance and high-quality recording.
The card is also equipped with a new user-friendly labeling feature, which allows users to write titles or comments directly onto labels on the front and back of the card. Panasonic is planning to introduce the new labeling feature in its other SD Memory Card models, with a running changeover from the current card designs in spring 2008.
The arrival of Panasonic’s 32GB model further strengthens its Pro High Speed line-up which currently has five models available: 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB card sizes with the Class 6 speed specification.
