Nokia announced that the Nokia E71x is now available for AT&T customers today. The thinnest QWERTY smartphone on the market, the Nokia E71x, has high-speed 3G connectivity, WiFi, and features a built-in music player and a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera to connect people to their passions -be it messaging, social networking, listening to music, taking and sharing images or even navigating to a date or job interview with AT&T Navigator.



The Nokia E71x is available from AT&T stores and online from www.wireless.att.com at a retail price of USD 99.99 with a 2 years service contract and after a $50 mail-in-rebate.

After a 5 week delay, AT&T has finally released its Nokia E71x, which is now available via Ma Bell for $99.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate and a 2 year pact. You can also get it for $299.99 off contract if you want. For that price you'll be getting:

* 2.4" display;
* HTML browser;
* 3.2Mpix camera with LED flash and autofocus;
* QWERTY keyboard;
* 3G support

Some 8 months after the launch of the Nokia E71, the AT&T-branded E71x (which made its unauthorized internet debut four months ago) is finally set to hit the shelves next Tuesday.

According to BGR, AT&T locations from coast to coast began receiving boxes full of’em sometime in the past few days. Whispers from the inside are pinning the handset at $199 bucks after rebate, which seems a bit steep considering unlocked and unbranded versions can be found for just $100 bucks more online (though the E71x is purportedly running S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, while the E71 is stuck at Feature Pack 1 - for now.) Anybody out there going to be banging down AT&T’s doors come Tuesday morning?
