BenQ Releases New E55 3G Phone in Taiwan
Available from end July in Taiwan , BenQ E55 is the successor of the BenQ E53 model. The clamshell phone support 3G data connection, comes with a 2 megapixel camera and able to play AAC, MP3, 3GP and MP4 media files. A secondary video call camera is built at the middle of the clamshell hinge.
With a simple and clean design, the BenQ E55 has a 1-inch 64k colors CSTN external screen with 96 x 64 resolution, good enough to display information like music song name, caller ID and phone battery status. The internal screen is a 2-inch TFT screen, supports 262k colors. Users with big thumb would be happy with Its big keypad design. The E55 will be priced at around 230 USD in Taiwan this month. BenQ C36 Music Phone
Wednesday, BenQ announced a new handset, the C36 music phone, which replaces the company’s C30. The C36 uses top-mount controls for its integrated FM tuner, MP3 library and 1.3-megapixel camera shortcut.
The camera is capable of recording AVI format movies and can be utilized as a webcam when connected to a PC via the C36’s miniUSB port. The dual-band GSM phone features a 2-inch screen with a 176×220-pixel resolution. The FM tuner features an instant or scheduled recording function, while supported audio file formats include MP3, WAV, MIDI and AMR. Playback is accomplished either via the dual speakers or the included headset, while files are stored on a microSD card up to 2GBs in size. BenQ C36 also sports an e-book reader and photo editor.
BenQ will launch the C36 in Indonesia in May, and will expand the launch to other countries over the next few months.

BenQ T60 Super-slim Mobile Phone
BenQ today announced the launch of its latest mobile phone - the super-slim BenQ T60.Measuring a mere 8.9mm thin, the T60 sports a 2.2-inch QVGA TFT LCD display, a built-in camera with 3.2 megapixel photo output, and a multimedia player.The BenQ T60 features an embedded handy caller black list function that is able to screen out unwanted calls.
