iPhone “nano” announcement rumored at Macworld

So there are been lots of rumors lately about the launch of an iPhone Nano and these rumors appear to be more and more likely to be true, based on several reports published today on a few sites.
According to iPhone Alley, a site that specializes in writing about the iPhone:
“We just received word from a reliable source within Apple that they are in fact working on an iPhone Nano, and that it will be announced at Macworld. The source says that the iPhone Nano will most likely be similar in form-factor to the iPod touch, and will probably not include 3G.”
The lack of 3G isn’t good, if true, but the smaller form factor will be quite welcome, and should prove to be very popular, based on its price when it is released. If its reasonable, the new iPhone “Nano” will make a big splash in the market.
