Formerly known as MobileBee online cell phone provider, Despercia added a new Sony Ericsson camera phone announced in February and released in May. Via Despercia, the cell phone is now available for the US market and brings a 5MP digital camera built-in, featuring autofocus, up to 16x digital zoom, image stabilizer, photo light, PhotoFix, picture blogging, red-eye reduction, video light, video recording and video stabilizer.
Maybe one of the coolest camera phones from Sony Ericsson, the G900i allows you to capture high-resolution sharp pictures at 16 times close-up, without blur even if your hand shakes or the subject in front of the handset suddenly moves. The photo and video light feature creates clear pictures in low light conditions, which you can send after to a live blog. When you need to capture images in interiors, with artificial light around, there won’t be red eyes thanks to the red-eye reduction technology.
Other features of the new cell phone with digital camera include a 240 x 320 TFT display of 262K colors with touchscreen and handwriting recognition, which you can write on using the stylus.
Networks supported are: GSM 900/1800/1900 UMTS 2100, and you can talk on the phone for up to 12 hours or keep it in standby for about 380 hours.
The Sony Ericsson G900i also comes with various music applications and functionalities like album art for browsing through CD albums, Bluetooth with A2DP to listen music using wireless headsets, MegaBass enhancement, PlayNow to download music and games, SensMe and TrackID, which tracks artist and songs details.
For communication, it provides email, Instant Messaging, Speakerphone, vibration and video call, while in the periods of time when you are not listening to the music or capturing images on the go, it gives you access to 3D games, FM radio with RDS, video clips playback and real-time video streaming.
For productivity you get the alarm clock, calculator, calendar for making appointments, document editors, flight mode, Notes, Tasks, Timer, all on the Symbian operating system, which allows you to download lots of useful compatible applications directly on your phone.
At Despercia, the handset costs $455 or $315 with T-Mobile contract.
