iPhone 3G set for India debut?
Sponsored linkWith fellow Apple lovers getting their hands on the coveted iPhone 3G earlier this month I guess it was only a matter of time before the dazzling phone hit Indian markets. Rumor has it that the new Apple progeny will be available in India late August or early September through carriers Vodafone and Airtel. Even though some features will be customized to match Indian tariffs, early buzz suggests much of its specs will remain the same as its US counterpart. For the time being, the 8GB model will be the only version made available for the launch. Prices are expected to range between Rs 11,500 and Rs 12,000, though unavailability of 3G and an official announcement might just make this one of those promising but false Chinese (or Indian?) whispers.
