"On May 8, 2007, Sony Ericsson's Java™ ME Executive Committee (EC) representative is joining a JavaOne 2007 BOF session where Java Community Process (JCP) experts and JSR spec leaders will debate the future of Java ME by analyzing the latest and coolest JSRs for the next-generation of Java technology enabled phones.
Jeff Griffin, Senior Systems Engineer and Sony Ericsson's representative on the Java ME Executive Committee, will also be debating the new Java umbrella standard Mobile Service Architecture (MSA) (JSR 248) for CLDC and CDC, Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP) 3.0, mobile web services and scalable vector graphics (SVG) together with some fellow industry panelists in an evening BOF session at JavaOne."
I hope this means lots of cool Java apps in the near future.
