Nokia Beta Labs has an experimental research project called "Nokia Friend View". Nokia Friend View is a location and micro-blogging service that helps users stay in touch with their close friends. Nokia Friend View lets users share where they are and how they feel from home, work, or on the go. With Friend View it is easy to meet up at only a moment’s notice.


Nokia Friend View works with Nokia 5320 XpressMusic, 6110 Navigator, 6210 Navigator, N95, N95 8GB, N82, N96, E71, E90, N80 and E61 and should work on all Nokia devices based on S60 3rd Edition. You can download the app here.

Nokia Friend View works with the following Web interfaces: Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer 7. Try Nokia Friend View at friendview.nokia.com.
