Skype has released a new Skype 3.0 beta for Windows Mobile, adding the ability to send text message through the Skype client and send/receive files with your other Skype friends. With the new file transfer feature, you can send files wirelessly anywhere to others easily.


For the new sms texting feature, the text message you are sending will be charged by Skype and is based on Skype’s rate according to your country. It is much lower than your service provider rate, according to Skype, especially when you are roaming.
