Mobile phone subscribers everywhere will now have the opportunity to strum guitar strings and play the drums to the tune of their favorite songs. Hands-On Mobile and Activision Publishing announced the availability of Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile for mobile phones. The mobile phone version of the popular console game allows players to choose drums, in addition to the guitar, as a playable instrument within the game. Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile is available today on major carriers nationwide and will be debuting in January on Android, the platform built by Google and the Open Handset Alliance.



Comprised of real-time multiplayer capabilities, players have the opportunity to battle head-to-head against others throughout the country, regardless of their mobile carrier. Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile also features MP3 quality original artist recordings, with 15 of the hottest songs available at launch. Additionally, new bonus songs will be added monthly and will also be available for multiplayer gameplay.
