Kyte Mobile Producer for Nokia S60 is now available, the mobile application on the Kyte Platform allows users to produce and distribute live streaming video, recorded video and pictures. Previously in private beta exclusively on the Nokia N95, Kyte Mobile Producer for Nokia S60 is now supported on several Nokia S60 3rd Edition camera phones and can be used by anyone to produce and distribute live and recorded content to multiple destinations simultaneously, including web sites, blogs, social networks and mobile phones.
“Kyte enables us to bring our listeners behind the scenes and experience everything the station does from a different perspective,” said Anil Dewan, KCRW’s Director of New Media. “We used Kyte for our summer pledge drive and to cover the Democratic and Republican National Conventions and were impressed with the flexibility of the Kyte Platform. The ability to stream live or ‘record and upload,’ with no editing or encoding required, allowed us to provide a lot of interesting content, easily and immediately.”
