Change Log for the New iPhone 2.1 Software Update

Here is a list of the changes for the new iPhone 2.1 firmware, which have been released last Friday. The update will decrease number of dropped calls, promise to give you better battery life and other bug fixes. To update your iPhone you can use the updater tool in your iTunes.

* Decrease in call set-up failures and dropped calls
* Significantly better battery life for most users
* Dramatically reduced time to backup to iTunes
* Improved email reliability, notably fetching email from POP and Exchange accounts
* Faster installation of 3rd party applications
* Fixed bugs causing hangs and crashes for users with lots of third party applications
* Improved performance in text messaging
* Faster loading and searching of contacts
* Improved accuracy of the 3G signal strength display
* Repeat alert up to two additional times for incoming text messages
* Option to wipe data after ten failed passcode attempts
* Genius playlist creation
While the new iPhone firmware is released, the iPhone Dev Team has also released their new PwnageTool 2.1. The team has figured out a way to avoid iTunes 8.0 detection which previously do not allow your Pwnaged iPhone to connect with the iTunes. Check out the Pwnage Tool 2.1 here
