China Gets First Taste of Motorola A1600 And A1800
Sponsored linkMotorola hopes to arrest the negative press they’ve been getting lately by releasing their A1600 and A1800 smartphones. Packed with features like touchscreens, GPS with geotagging and a 3.0 megapixel camera with continuous autofocus, these Linux-powered ultra-modern smartphones have been reported to be available in small mobile phone shops in China.
The A1600 and A1800 are similar in appearance, but the A1800 allows users to connect to two networks simultaneously, and it features triband GSM with CDMA support. The A1600 lacks a 3G radio and a WiFi receiver.
Current reports indicate that both devices might never leave China. Release dates and pricing information are also being withheld. All that’s certain is that the A1600 and A1800 have both been confirmed for production.
